Just where I want to be...

26 now, well, tomorrow.
I am exactly where I want to be.
I am married to the man of my dreams, I live in an amazing home, I have a pool to relax in, and I have my family.

I feel very blessed to be where I am. My whole life I thought I would be married at 22, maybe 23 and have a baby on the way by 25. I am so grateful that is not the case. It isn't a bad plan for anyone, but as time has gone by, I have realized, had I gone down that path, I wouldn't be here.

I have developed new friendships, a new family, and new traditions.

Now, hanging Christmas lights in 90 degree weather isn't my favorite thing to do, and spending holidays and birthdays away from my immediate family, well that wasn't in the plans either. But having a place for all my friends and family to stay when they need a break from the cool, gloomy weather... that makes up for it all.

Now, I am looking toward the future. From here on out I am going to be a better wife, better daughter, better sister and better family member. Here is to 26, and the best life I could have ever dreamed of.

Happy Birthday to me!

No, it isn't my birthday quite yet... in fact, we are a few months out. I will be 25 years of age... this is a large birthday... especially for me. Anywho, I thought I would start my birthday list. So many things I want, and forget that I want... so I have decided this will be an ongoing post with the many lovely things I want. If you feel the need to buy me/make a birthday present, see the following list:

A sewing machine
I don't really want a vintage one. I want one that is handy dandy with embroidering capabilities but, for aesthetic purposes... this picture suits me just fine.

Canon EOS Rebel T1i 15.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. It's a big ticket item... but I would LOVE it like my own child... almost.

Some Shabby Chic windows... Not sure what to use them for just yet... but I want them none the less.

A craft room for an organized assortment of craftiness and crafty ideas, and crafty items.

Urban Outfitter Jewelry Stand...
I have WAY too many some necklaces, and would love more to hang on this lovely jewelry stand. I think I would like to have a forest of these jewelry trees!
